Terms of service

These terms apply when you access the CyanDB website or create and use a CyanDB workspace.

Using CyanDB

CyanDB provides tools and guidance to organize domains, destination inboxes, aliases, and email-routing configuration. The current routing provider is a mock. CyanDB does not currently deliver or forward real email, provide a mailbox, or automatically change DNS records.

Your account and workspace

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for limiting workspace access to people you authorize. Notify us if you believe an account has been compromised.

Domains, inboxes, and DNS

You must own or have permission to manage each domain and destination inbox you add. You are responsible for reviewing DNS instructions and your existing email provider’s requirements before making changes. MX record changes may affect incoming mail. CyanDB does not guarantee delivery or availability of third-party email services.

Acceptable use

Use CyanDB lawfully and only for domains and inboxes you are authorized to manage. Do not use the service for spam, phishing, impersonation, unlawful activity, security abuse, or to interfere with another person’s service. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

Availability and changes

Features may change as CyanDB develops. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or legal requirements.

Third-party services

CyanDB may rely on third-party hosting, database, DNS, and email services. Their services are governed by their own terms and may be subject to separate limits or interruptions.

Disclaimers and liability

CyanDB is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, CyanDB is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, email delivery failures, or DNS changes made by you or another provider. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Contact and updates

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law. Questions can be sent to legal@cyandb.com.
