DOCUMENTATION
CyanDB setup documentation
Use these steps to understand the setup before changing DNS or relying on a new email address. CyanDB’s current preview is for configuration review and does not route real email.
Start here
- Add a domain you control.
Enter your domain in the workspace and use the provided TXT record to confirm ownership. TXT verification does not route email or change your existing mail setup.
- Add and verify a destination inbox.
Choose the inbox that should receive messages for an alias, then complete the verification flow before using it as a destination.
- Review your current mail provider and DNS.
Check existing MX records and your provider’s instructions before making changes. MX changes can interrupt incoming mail if they conflict with your current setup.
- Create and review an alias.
Choose a clear address name, connect it to your domain and destination, and confirm the routing details.

Important preview limits
The current development preview uses a mock provider. It does not deliver or forward email, automatically edit DNS, or confirm that a production mail route is active. Do not rely on the preview for live email service.
